A beautiful 9 hole course

Melrose Golf Club was first instituted in April 1880. Many developments over the years have culminated in a beautiful parkland 9 hole course with a range of interesting and challenging holes.

Carefully tended by our Head Greenkeeper, Sandy and his team, the course is often admired for its beautiful trees and lush greenery. Situated at the foot of the Eildon Hills, players often remark on the spectacular surroundings.

The course sits half a mile uphill from the pretty and historic town of Melrose where visitors can find plenty of places to eat and drink plus a range of independent shops.

This is a surprisingly challenging course, drawing players back time and time again to fine tune their game.

“We came to play 9 holes but we had to go round again to try to beat our score. It’s harder than it looks!”
